Internship at digital mental health start-up

For our start-up we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) 50% for 4-6 months starting immediately or by appointment.

The young start-up Therayou, based in Basel and Zurich, stands for innovative, easily accessible and evidence-based digital mental health. Our interdisciplinary team is highly experienced in the start-up and healthcare sector. Together, we want to facilitate access to high-quality psychotherapy. Mental health is a major concern for all of us. Currently there is a mismatch between the increasing need and available services in mental health care. Therefore, we are in the process of building new, innovative, and evidence-based digital and blended services for people with mental disorders.

For our start-up we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) 50% for 4-6 months starting immediately or by appointment.

Your tasks:

  • Development, adaptation, and testing of new technologies, such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Smartphone Applications for mental health care needs
  •  Support of various projects within the start-up, including planning and development 
  • Support in collaboration with international partners
  •  Literature research 
  • Organisation of presentations, events, and meetings
  •  Other administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Students in psychology, economics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, medicine, or related studies; Master's level desired.
  •  Strong interest in digital health and start-up companies
  •  Good German, English, and computer skills
  •  Analytical thinking, good organisational skills and open-minded personality
  •  High willingness to learn, independent working style, and team work skills
  •  Open-mindedness and pleasure in dealing with people
  •  Strong service orientation
