Hello everyone, my name is Giorgos. I'm a Greek lutenist and guitarist and i play all around Europe in festivals and orchestras of "Early Music", a (very) general term for a category of music (or let's say "genre") that refers to the performance of music composed and played up until roughly the mid 18th century Europe. I wasn't always performing this type of music as i've grown up as a classically trained guitarist, but it's been immensely fun and exciting to have had new horizons open to me, and i hope i'll be able to help you broaden yours! The lute is a very accessible instrument to anyone, and nobody can doubt of the popularity of the guitar, they both have their strengths and limitations!
