My name is Pantelis, and I’m looking for a room or a roommate in Basel.

I am 27 years old and have been accepted into the Master’s program in Molecular Biology at the University of Basel. Right now, I’m searching for a room in a shared apartment (WG) or a roommate to look for a place together.

A little about me: I am a biologist with a Master’s degree in Medicine, and I am currently studying Bioinformatics. I am clean, responsible, and respectful of shared spaces. I enjoy movies, video games, walking, and good conversations once I get to know someone. I don’t speak German yet, but I would love to learn. My English is not perfect, but I am improving through communication. I have a medical condition that requires weekly intravenous treatment, so I am also arranging my healthcare in Basel.

I'll be going to Basel to continue my research project on the Paleontology and Macroevolution of snakes at ETH as a project mobility student. I'm excited about this new experience and have already started studying Swiss German to better adapt!

I would say I'm a good mix of an extrovert and an introvert. I'm a big fan of good coffee (I'll definitely bring some from my country to share) and as for music, I enjoy Bossa Nova and Kpop. I like taking dance classes, going out, and reading in my free time. My favorite activities when going out are going for a walk/bike ride, going to the cinema, and having a meal at new and cozy cafés and restaurants, so I'll be happy if you're open to joining me in these too :)

As I'm not from São Paulo, where I currently study, I have already shared an apartment and have experience in creating a harmonious and organized environment!
