Legal Assistant-Working Student

We are looking for the Legal Assistant! this position supports administrative and legal support to the Legal Counsel, including the Data Protection Team, since the Legal Counsel is part of the Data Protection Team. This role involves managing legal documentation, coordinating meetings, conduct legal research and ensuring the smooth operation of the legal department.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative support
manage the Legal Counsel's calendar, schedule meetings, handling incoming and outcoming emails, letters, and legal documents, prepare and format legal documentation, contracts, and reports as required
- Documentation management
organize and maintain legal files, both physical and digital, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and properly archived, assist in the drafting, reviewing, and proofreading of legal documents and contracts
- Legal research
Conduct preliminary legal research on relevant laws, regulations and precedents as requested by the Legal Counsel, summarize findings and prepare reports to support the Legal Counsel
- Compliance support
Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, help prepare and organize documentation for compliance audits and reviews
- Project assistance
Support the Legal Counsel in special projects, track project timelines, deliverables and ensure follow-up on pending matters
- Confidentiality and ethics
maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive matters and company information
Requirements:
- Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and German
- Candidates with an academic background in the following fields will be preferred: Politics, Law, Economics, Business, Psychology, European & Global Studies, International Relations
- Work Schedule: Preferred working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Open to discussion for other availability
- Workload: Preference for a commitment of 40% or more
