The Institute of Nursing Science at the Department of Public Health, University of Basel is looking for a Student Research Assistant to support the project INTERSCALE starting in March 2025 (or as soon as possible). The position involves assisting with data entry and management for the research study.
About the INTERSCALE Project
INTERSCALE is a research project funded by the Nursing Science Foundation and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) that is carrying out a scale-up of the nursing-led care model INTERCARE. The aim is to investigate and explore whether less extensive implementation strategies than those developed for the INTERCARE model in the first round equally lead to a successful reduction in hospital admissions and the sustainable implementation of INTERCARE. The cost-effectiveness of implementation strategies is also assessed.

job description
We are looking for a Student Research Assistant to support the project with:
- Data entry and management for research analysis
- Reviewing and organizing data from different sources
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of entered data
Remuneration will be provided in accordance with the usual guidelines of the University of Basel.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Excel is required
- Familiarity with R or SPSS is a plus
- Detail-oriented and reliable in handling research data
- Comfortable working in both English and German
- Committed to handling research data with confidentiality, integrity, and adherence to ethical guidelines
Period of employment
March 2025 to February 2026 (with the possibility of contract renewal after one year)
Work Location:
Institute of Nursing Science (INS), University of Basel, with the possibility of remote work (home office).
