Production Operator (M/F/X)
For the upcoming scaling phase Mycrobez is looking for a driven Production Operator to produce our new products for customers.

Mycrobez is an innovative startup transforming sustainability through mycelium-based biodegradable materials. Our mission is to lead the bio-economic revolution with circular, eco-friendly solutions that replace environmentally harmful materials. Contributing to the transition to a biobased economy by closing material loops at industrial scales enabling sustainable circularity. For the upcoming scaling phase Mycrobez is looking for a driven Production Operator to produce our new products for customers.
The growing Mycrobez team consists of 15 motivated young people with a variety of backgrounds. Ranging from engineering, biology, material science to product design and sales just to name a few. United by one fascination: the potential of mycelium to enable a circular and sustainable future. We are in Basel Switzerland near the German and French border, with an international team from all over the world mainly communicating in English and German.
The Job is on site in our custom facilities on an hourly basis with a planned workload of 60% - 80%.

Qualifications, Skills and know how
o Work experience in clean working environments and hygienic working methods (food grade or higher)
o Familiar with cleaning procedures in production settings
o Precise and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in execution
o Business fluent in English or German
Key Responsabilities
o Participate in mycelium composite production process and ensure quality and timely delivery of the products
o Operate machinery according to production procedure and safety standards
o Clean production rooms, equipment and machines
Ideal Candidate Profile
o Expertise and experience with industrial machine operation, the required safety procedures and cleaning of said machines
o Experience with industrial mixing procedures
o Knowledge of microbiology
