Psychology Internship for Bachelor Students
Research internship in a collaboration project between University of Basel, University of Bern and University of Geneva.
Description:
The intern will play a supportive role in two ongoing research projects. The first study, led by Prof. Dr. Hanno Würbel and Prof. Dr. Evie Vergauwe, is dedicated to the preregistration of studies in animal experimentation. This research aims to enhance the transparency and reliability of animal-based research. The second study, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Bernice Elger and Prof. Dr. Rainer Greifeneder, seeks to explore the experiences of individuals with loneliness and social isolation. This study aims to deepen our understanding of these critical social issues and contribute to developing effective interventions.
Tasks:
• Transcription of qualitative interviews
• Literature search
• Screening of scientific articles
• Data extraction & data entry
• Coding of interviews
• Other tasks within the research group
Requirements:
• Sound computing skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Good knowledge of English
• Ability to work independently
• Structured and accurate way of working
