A male postdoc is looking for either a one-room apartment or a private room in a shared apartment (WG).

Basic requirements
Long-term rental preferred. Ideally, I would like to be able to register the address and obtain a residence confirmation (Permit).
I would prefer a location reasonably close to Biozentrum / Unibas DBM, but good public transport connections are also fine.
About me
I am a male postdoc who will soon be joining the University of Basel (Unibas).
I speak English and Chinese.
I am clean, tidy, and considerate, with a regular schedule. I am generally quiet and am looking for a stable, long-term place to live.
Move-in date
Around October, with a preference for a long-term rental.
Flexible about the rental arrangement
If there is a suitable private room, I would be happy to join an existing shared apartment (WG).
If there is a suitable whole apartment, I am also open to renting it and finding roommates together.
I hope to find roommates with similar lifestyles who are easy to get along with.
